Zoom Professional Whitening
Zoom whitening has been clinically proven to whiten up to 8 shades in one single convenient visit. The whitening gel is safe on enamel and 99% of patients experience little or no sensitivity during the whitening treatment. Zoom whitening uses blue LED technology, reversing staining from food, drinks, ageing, and even discoloration from some medication.
What is whitening?
Many things can stain our teeth: smoking/vaping, food, drinks, aging, and even medication. Professional in-office whitening can brighten up your smile in one easy visit – up to 8 shades brighter!
Are there any risks involved?
Teeth sensitivity is the largest risk during whitening treatment. Our in-office whitening protocol minimizes sensitivity. We recommend brushing your teeth with Sensodyne toothpaste one week prior to your whitening appointment. The Zoom whitening gel itself has desensitizers incorporated into it, and studies show very few patients experience any sensitivity at all pre or post whitening. Lastly, we also ask that you continue brushing your teeth with Sensodyne toothpaste for another week after Zoom whitening.
What are the aftercare instructions?
To maximize and maintain the brightness of your new smile, it is recommended that you don’t eat or drink anything staining for 24 hours. This includes soda, coffee, tea, wine, red sauce pasta, etc. Please also refrain from smoking/vaping for 24 hours as well.
